Add your notes to a Workspace Project, ask for a report for a named audience, and review the draft against the original material. Clanker can help organize and revise the file; you decide when it is ready to share.

## What you are working toward

A reviewed client update with progress, blockers, owners, and next steps.

## Start with

- Meeting notes or a written project update

- The reporting period and intended reader

- Any tone, length, and format requirements

## Keep the source material with the work

Create a Project for the client and add notes, an approved brief, or a status spreadsheet. Put the preferred voice and report structure in Project instructions so the next update starts with the same expectations.

Keep the reporting period explicit. A note saying “approved Monday” is ambiguous without a date or week. Ask the Agent to flag that ambiguity when it affects what the report promises.

## Ask for a file and a fact check

Specify the output you want: a concise update, a longer report, or a presentation outline. Ask the Agent to preserve uncertainty and keep proposed next steps separate from agreed commitments.

For example, “Photos still needed; launch depends on photos” should remain a blocker. It should not become “launch confirmed for Friday.” Use the weekly client report starter to try the workflow with fictional notes first.

## Open it, revise it, and reuse the structure

Use Preview in the Session or the Project’s Files tab to open the result. Check names, dates, ownership, totals, and unsupported claims before asking for stylistic changes. Review the saved file itself, including later pages.

Ask for specific revisions such as “shorten the introduction” or “put client actions first.” Download the final file when ready. If the same report repeats, keep a reusable prompt or make an Agent with the agreed checklist.

## Try this prompt

Copy into a Workspace Session. Opening Workspace does not send it automatically.

```text
Turn these notes into a client update for this week. Include progress, decisions, blockers, and next steps with owners where stated. Keep it under one page. Do not invent dates, commitments, or results. List missing information separately. Save a document in this Project for my review; do not send it.
```

## Common questions

### Can I turn notes into a client report?

Yes. Add notes and files to a Project, ask for progress, decisions, blockers, and next steps, and review the draft against your source material. Ask for a different structure or tone before downloading or sending it.

### Where do I find and review the finished files?

Open your Project’s Files tab or General → Files. In a Session, Preview opens a side panel where you can select a file. Use page, sheet, or slide controls where available, check the contents, and download the result.

### Are Apps and files public as soon as I create them?

Creating or previewing an App does not publish it. Private sharing requires recipients to sign in. Publish only when you want a public link, and review the data included in the result. Manage private sharing in Shared.
