A practical Workspace guide

Start small. Know what keeps running.

New Clanker Cloud accounts start with $20 in included credits. AI work and cloud environments use credits at applicable rates. Try a small task, check usage, and choose additional credits or an optional monthly plan when you need more.

Try one complete task first

Create an account without starting a paid subscription, choose a small real task, and inspect the result and credit usage. A sample report is easier to evaluate than a large open-ended automation.

Included credits are a starting balance, not unlimited free usage. Workload, model, tools, retries, and active environments can change the amount consumed. Do not extrapolate a fixed price per report from an unrelated example.

Understand the separate balances

Each paid renewal tops subscription credits up to the plan quota when the balance is below it. Welcome, purchased, promotional, and referral credits remain separate and are used after subscription credits. Check your account balance for the credits currently available.

Business protected-data options require separate setup and activation. A subscription purchase alone does not activate a private or regulated environment.

Budget recurring and computer work

Agent work, voice, browsers, cloud computers, Apps, and recurring tasks can use credits at different rates. Loops use 10× model tokens, with computer usage charged separately. Check the rates shown for the feature before starting.

For a rough forecast, multiply observed usage for one representative run by expected runs, then account for active compute and variation. Use this as an estimate, not a quote. Recheck after changing the model, prompt, sources, or frequency.

Stop the work you have finished

Pause or stop recurring workers you no longer need. Use stop or shutdown controls for active environments; hiding a viewer may leave the computer running. Review Settings and the account page when usage differs from your expectation.

Compare products using the same workload and required features. A subscription allowance, an automation execution, and a model token are different billing units; a lower headline price does not establish a lower total cost.
