A reusable starting point

From customer interviews to your next launch decision.

Use this fictional Spruce Lane packet to turn interview notes into a customer-research brief and a practical launch-plan draft. Keep the interviews, company decisions and saved results in one Project. The sample is authored to show a useful structure; it is not a measured product run or market validation.

Start with $20 in included credits. See usage and plans.

Keep the evidence behind the theme

Add the two files to a Project. Ask for a research brief with interview references, the needs that repeat and the needs that fall outside the pilot.

Three interviews describe weekly reporting work. Four interviews are a small fictional packet, so the theme does not establish market size or product-market fit.

Turn the finding into a next experiment

Ask for a launch-plan draft using the approved reporting pilot. Include a proposed owner, the decisions still needed and what the team should learn from a trial.

Keep the two-week timing as a proposal until the owner and dates are agreed. Save the plan separately from the source interview notes.

Reuse the research method

Create a customer-research Agent with your interview brief format, evidence rules and selected Tools. Bring each new research packet into the relevant Project.

For the next cycle, ask for the same brief and experiment structure using fresh interviews.

An illustrative result.

Fictional sample, written to show the expected structure. Your result depends on your inputs and needs review.

# Reporting pilot — proposed next step

Evidence: I1, I2 and I3 describe weekly reporting work. I4 prioritizes inventory and is outside the pilot.

Approved scope: uploaded notes or exports → saved draft for human review.

Proposed experiment: invite a small permitted pilot group to try one reporting task; assess the resulting draft and review effort.

Decisions needed: pilot owner, start date and success criteria. Two-week timing remains proposed.

Authored fictional example; not an executed Agent result.

Before you use the result.

  • The brief links themes to the correct interviews.
  • The pilot uses the approved scope.
  • The proposed owner and start date are still decisions to make.

Common questions.

Can I use this with our own customer interviews?

Use interview material you are permitted to supply, then replace the fictional files with the current packet. Review source fidelity and the suitability of any proposed experiment.

What files should I ask for?

Start with a concise research brief and a launch-plan draft. Keep the interviews, source references and open decisions in the same Project.
