Plan Business Marketing Content from Your Existing Materials

Use approved business materials to prepare a marketing content plan in Clanker Workspace. Track evidence, owners, dependencies, and blocked ideas before publication.

A business can have plenty of content ideas while still struggling to choose what is ready to publish. A product explanation may have approved source material; a customer story may still need permission; an announcement may depend on a release that has not happened.

Clanker Workspace can help organize that queue into a proposed plan. Keep the ideas, approved materials, and review rules in a marketing Project, then ask an Agent to show the readiness behind each slot.

Bring the evidence with each idea

Start with your product FAQ, approved descriptions, source links, and the current content queue. Record the owner, preferred date, and dependency for each idea. Identify which material is approved for the intended audience.

Choose a planning window and a capacity rule the team can actually review. You can start with a few items and no more than one proposed publication per day. Empty days are useful information when other work is waiting on approval.

The content calendar starter provides a fuller sample and prompt. For this exercise, use a separate fictional queue for 19–23 October 2026:

ID Idea and preferred date Dependency
M01 Guide based on approved FAQ; 19 October Review the generated draft.
M02 Customer story from interview notes; 20 October Customer permission is missing.
M03 Short post linking to M01; 20 October M01 must actually be published first.
M04 Feature announcement from draft notes; 21 October Release and product approval are pending.

Maya owns M01 and M03; Ravi owns M02 and M04. Final publication approvers are not named in the sample.

Ask for a plan with visible dependencies

Prepare marketing-plan.md for 19–23 October 2026 from this fictional queue. Allow at most one proposed item per day. Preserve source IDs, owners, preferred dates, and approval requirements. Keep M02 and M04 blocked. Give M03 a conditional slot only after M01's proposed date, dependent on actual publication. Identify missing final approvers. Save the plan and draft outline for M01 for review. Do not schedule or publish anything.

The output should explain the proposed slots and leave unresolved work visible. It should not invent additional topics to fill the week or manufacture a customer result from interview notes.

Check the calendar and the claims separately

A reasonable sample plan puts M01 on 19 October as a proposal awaiting draft review. M03 can have a conditional 20 October slot. M02 and M04 stay in the blocked list. The remaining days can stay empty.

Open the saved calendar and verify those dependencies. A date on a plan is not evidence that a release, approval, or preceding publication happened.

Then inspect the generated M01 outline against the approved FAQ. Preserve limitations that matter to readers. Approval of source material does not approve every new headline, inference, or claim produced from it. Keep results and customer quotations tied to their actual evidence.

Keep the plan current as the week changes

When M01 is reviewed and published, record that outcome before treating M03 as ready for its next review. If the guide moves, ask the Agent to revise the dependent slot and explain the change.

Keep the planning method in a Skill or Agent, with current sources and dates in the Project. A private dashboard can help when the team needs filters by owner or readiness; test it against the original queue.

Publication remains a separate task in the business's actual channel. Specify the reviewed content, account, audience, and timing when that action is intended. The Workspace plan gives the team a clear preparation and review record.
