Clanker Workspace
Put your business sources to work.
Clanker Cloud brings business sources, AI work and saved deliverables together. Start with files or exports in a Project, use the experimental Google connection for selected Drive files, Docs and Sheets, or connect a supported assistant to authorized Workspace tools. Choose the route for your task, prepare a useful report, proposal or workbook, and keep the reviewed result with its sources.
Start with $20 in included credits. See usage and plans.
Choose the route that fits the source
A weekly spreadsheet, an approved service brief and a request arriving by email need different setup. Use this map to choose how the work enters Workspace and what you can inspect afterward.
| Business source | What you can prepare | Route and current status | What to review |
|---|---|---|---|
| Documents, spreadsheets, PDFs and other permitted files | Research, proposals, reports and operating workbooks. | Upload to a Project or attach files to a Session in your browser. | Source date, reporting period and the saved output against the supplied files. |
| Selected Google Drive files, Docs and Sheets | Work with selected files, create or edit Docs and Sheets, and save Project copies. | Experimental Google connection in External Apps; authorize the account and choose files. | The selected file, changes in the Google original and the freshness of each Project copy. |
| Your preferred AI assistant | Use authorized Workspace files and tools while keeping deliverables in the Project. | Documented remote MCP/OAuth routes for supported clients; client and account availability varies. | The client route, granted permissions and tools needed for the task. |
| Files or apps on a computer you connect | Computer-dependent tasks using the accessible apps and files. | Clanker desktop app and an approved connection; the computer must stay online. | The intended computer, app, account and action before relying on the result. |
| Requests to a managed Workspace email address | A Project Session and an emailed response using the selected Agent or session defaults. | Business, Business Pro and eligible Enterprise access; configure the Project and allowed senders. | Sender rules, available tools and automatic response behavior before enabling the workflow. |
| Messages through a supported Channel | Conversations handled by the Agent and response rules you configure. | A separate Channels connection, where available in your account. | The actual connected service, permitted senders or chats, reply rules and recorded activity. |
| A reviewed document, workbook or private App | A deliverable to download, share through available controls or use in the next task. | Saved work in Workspace; sending or updating another service is a separate action. | The exact saved version, facts, recipient access and destination. |

Use selected Google files with a clear source version
In External Apps, connect the Google account and choose the files for the task. Ask for a supported change to a selected Doc or Sheet, or save a copy to the intended Project for a report, comparison or other deliverable.
Check the result where the change was made: a Google original and a Project copy are separate files. A saved Project copy does not refresh automatically when its Google source changes. Bring a fresh copy when the next review needs updated facts. The Google files connection is experimental.

Choose how the task reaches your Agent
Work directly in a Clanker Session, or use a supported external assistant connection. The assistant route gives that client authorized Workspace tools; a business-app connection gives access to the selected source service. Choose both deliberately when a task needs them. Private chats in another assistant are not automatically imported.
Setup documented · client testing pending. Check the client guide and connection setup for the actual tools and permissions needed. Choosing a Project supplies working context; it does not restrict the whole assistant connection to that Project.

Give repeatable requests an explicit entry point
Eligible accounts can create a managed email address at email.clankercloud.ai, link it to a Project and choose allowed senders. Select an Agent or use the regular session defaults. After setup, accepted requests start automatically: a new email thread creates a Session, replies continue it, and the response is emailed when the work finishes.
Channels are separate connections to supported messaging or mailbox services, where available. Review the connected account, Agent and response rules in Channels before relying on the workflow. A managed Workspace email address and a connected personal mailbox have different setup; neither follows automatically from connecting Google files.

Start from an export. Inspect the reply pack.
The fictional service-business packet contains four customer inquiries and an approved service brief. Add those files to a Project and ask for reply drafts plus a tracker showing the next owner decision. The Client Delivery Assistant role kit supplies a reusable method you can adapt to your own service information.
The downloadable illustrations show the checks: Q02 asks for two workshops at €250 each, so its draft quote is €500 excluding tax while payment terms remain open. Q01 has no agreed delivery date, Q03 needs scope review and Q04 asks for a service outside the approved catalog. Open the editable reply drafts and tracker against the source rows. These are authored fictional examples, not an executed Agent run, live inbox or CRM connection, sent messages or customer results.

Keep the approved business record clear
Keep your CRM, accounting, payroll or scheduling system as the approved record for its job. A permitted export can give Workspace the facts for a report, proposal or handoff without changing that record. Name the source, its date and which saved output the next owner should use.
For live records or an external change, verify the specific supported service, authorized account and action in your setup. Uploading a CRM export does not create a direct CRM connection. Preparing a proposal does not send it, and reviewing a capacity workbook does not book work. Use the saved result to make the next authorized step clear.

Connect what the first useful task needs
Choose one source route and one named deliverable. Check the saved result, request a correction and record the usage before expanding the workflow. New accounts start with $20 in included credits; Clanker-hosted work and active cloud environments use credits at current rates. An external assistant subscription and its own model use remain separate.
Use the current access, sharing and processing terms for the material you supply. ZDR, data residency and encryption are coming soon. If the task should repeat, configure the input-refresh route, timing and review owner in a supported Schedule or Loop after testing the workflow.

Common questions.
How can I bring business data into Clanker Workspace?
Start with permitted files or exports in a Project. The experimental Google connection works with selected Drive files, Docs and Sheets. Supported assistants can use authorized Workspace tools, while connected-computer work, managed email and Channels have their own setup and availability. Choose the source route and the output needed for your task.
Will my uploaded export or Google copy stay in sync?
An uploaded export or a saved Google Project copy is a snapshot. Record its source date and supply a fresh version when the task needs updates. Saving a file or configuring a Schedule does not by itself create synchronization with the source system.
Does this include a direct connection to every CRM or accounting tool?
No. Use a permitted export to start, then check the specific supported service and action before planning live access or changes. A file-based workflow does not establish a native CRM, accounting, payroll or Slack integration. Your existing system can remain the approved record while Workspace prepares the analysis and handoff.
Is connecting ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini the same as connecting my business apps?
No. A supported assistant connection lets that client use the Workspace tools you authorize. Access to a business source requires its own supported route and account permission. Private assistant chats are not automatically imported, and choosing a Project does not limit the connection to that Project.
Does connecting Google files also connect my email?
The experimental Google files route concerns selected Drive files, Docs and Sheets. Managed Workspace email addresses and mailbox connections through Channels use separate setup. Review the specific email route and response behavior before enabling it.
What happens when someone emails my managed Workspace address?
On eligible Business, Business Pro or Enterprise access, configure the Project, allowed senders and optional Agent first. Accepted requests then start automatically: a new thread creates a Session, replies continue it, and a response is emailed when the work finishes. Review that automatic behavior and the available tools before enabling requests.
Do I need the desktop app to use business files?
Ordinary Project uploads, Sessions and supported cloud connections start in your browser. Work that depends on your own computer needs the Clanker desktop app, an approved connection and that computer online. Cloud browser and hosted compute are separate execution choices.
Are ZDR, data residency and encryption available for connected work?
ZDR, data residency and encryption are coming soon. Review today’s Workspace terms and the policies of each external assistant or connected service. A connection or a plan purchase does not activate those planned controls.
