A practical Workspace guide

Your favorite agents. One home for the work.

Clanker Cloud gives compatible AI agents a shared place for Project sources, tools and saved results. Connect your assistant through its supported MCP route, approve the access it needs, and keep useful work in Workspace. You can also create your own Agents directly in Clanker.

Start with $20 in included credits. See usage and plans.

Choose the agent you already use

The guides below explain different client routes. They are setup guidance, not an official directory listing or a claim that every client version has completed an authenticated Clanker workflow. Check account availability, sign in, and verify the first saved result.

Data in. Agents at work. Results saved.

Add files, PDFs, spreadsheets, images or approved connected sources to a Project. Choose the actual tools available to the agent and describe the result: a report, evidence table, email draft, analysis or app specification.

Open the saved result in Workspace and check it against the source. Connected apps, hosted execution and file formats depend on the tools and permissions available to that account; a connection does not grant every capability.

Start with one agent. Continue with another.

For example, Claude can save a supplier comparison and handoff.md. After your review, an authorized ChatGPT task can read those files and prepare the client update. Keep source names, the current file version, decisions and open questions in the handoff.

Use Workspace group chats for your people and Workspace agents to discuss the work. Connect an external agent through its supported route when you want it to act on saved context. Private chats and model memory do not transfer automatically, and connecting MCP alone does not add an agent to a group chat.

Make the useful method repeatable

Create a Clanker Agent with the job, instructions, knowledge and selected tools. Once the task works, configure a Loop for repeated work or a Schedule for a set time. Connect email separately when the job involves incoming messages or draft replies.

Keep the external client, any Clanker-hosted runtime and their costs distinct. An MCP connection does not move the agent’s process into your cloud or start recurring work.

Common questions.

Is connecting an agent the same as selecting its model in Clanker?

No. An external agent uses its own client, model account and provider policies. Selecting an available model inside Workspace is a separate route. This guide covers client connections and saved work.

Does a connection give an agent access to everything?

Access depends on its granted permissions, account policy and available tools. Start with Read, then approve additional access for the task. Naming a Project in a prompt does not create a Project-only OAuth grant.

Can I start without connecting another agent?

Yes. Open Workspace in your browser, select an existing Agent or create one, add your sources and start a Session. External agents are an additional way to work with Clanker.
