AI Presentation Assistants: Turn Project Notes into Business Slides

Use an AI presentation assistant to shape a business deck from project files, with a clear decision, sourced claims, useful speaker notes, and slide review.

An AI presentation assistant can help turn a collection of notes, figures, and documents into a clear story for a meeting. The first question is what the audience needs to understand or decide. Slide design comes after that.

Use Clanker Cloud Workspace to keep the presentation brief and source material together. You can work with an Agent on the outline, wording, evidence, and speaker notes. Specify the required output format, then review the resulting file in the application where it will be presented.

Start with one decision

Imagine a fictional operations team comparing two approaches to handling client requests. Leadership needs to choose which approach to test next month. The team has an issues log, a draft process, and a small sample of completed requests.

A weak brief asks for “a professional presentation about operations.” A better brief identifies the audience, the decision, the available evidence, the requested length, and what remains unknown.

For example:

Prepare a seven-slide presentation, including the title slide, for our operations review. Explain the current request process, compare the two proposed approaches, and ask for a decision about a pilot. Use only the attached evidence. Mark missing measurements. Keep the recommendation conditional where the evidence is incomplete.

The slide count is explicit, and the assistant has a reason to select some information and leave other detail in the notes.

Approve the story before formatting

Ask for an outline with one message per slide. For this example, seven slides could cover:

  1. The decision the meeting needs to make.
  2. How requests are handled today.
  3. The recurring problem shown by the sample.
  4. The first proposed approach.
  5. The second proposed approach.
  6. What the pilot would measure.
  7. The decision, owner, and next step.

Check the transitions. If a slide does not help the audience reach the decision, remove it or move its detail into an appendix while respecting the agreed total length.

For a broader written brief first, use the document assistant workflow. It is easier to repair an argument in an outline than after decorating every slide.

Make evidence easy to inspect

Require a source note for each number and factual claim. A small sample can illustrate an issue, but it does not establish company-wide performance. Do not let the assistant turn an example into a measured improvement or a proposed target into an achieved result.

If the source only contains ten completed requests, state that scope. If a chart requires a figure the files do not contain, use a clearly marked placeholder or change the chart. The research verification guide helps distinguish evidence, interpretation, and missing information.

Ask for speaker notes that explain the context without repeating the slide verbatim. Keep detailed source references with the Project so the presenter can answer follow-up questions.

Inspect the presentation people will actually see

Review every slide for overflow, small text, misleading scales, broken images, and vague headings. Check whether the important conclusion is visible at normal presentation size.

Then open the exported file in the intended presentation application. An image preview does not prove that fonts, animations, videos, or editable elements behave correctly there. If you are revising an existing deck, preserve the original and identify the changes that need closer inspection.

A reusable presentation Agent can remember your preferred structure and review checklist. Each new deck still needs its own audience, evidence, and decision. That is what turns a pile of office material into a meeting people can act on.
