Bookmarks and Wiki: Keep Useful Work in Clanker Workspace

Use Workspace Bookmarks for useful replies and Archive Wiki for lasting knowledge. Keep source context with findings and choose what belongs in Project Files.

Some AI work is useful long after the task ends. You may want to return to an explanation, understand why a decision was made, or reuse a method that worked well. Clanker Workspace offers Bookmarks and Archive → Wiki alongside Project Files to give these results appropriate homes.

The choice depends on what you want to keep. A downloaded report and the reasoning behind its recommendation may both matter, but you use them differently.

Bookmark a reply worth returning to

Use Bookmarks for a useful response you want to revisit. This might be a clear explanation of a spreadsheet issue, an outline you want to discuss later, or a reply that captures the questions still open in a Project.

For a fictional supplier review, the comparison Session produces a helpful explanation of the cancellation terms. Bookmark that reply so you can return to it when the supplier sends a clarification.

Retain enough context to understand what the response meant. A statement about one proposal should still identify that proposal and the review's scope. Bookmarking an answer preserves a reference; it does not establish that its facts are current indefinitely.

Use Wiki for an explanation you want to maintain

Archive → Wiki is suited to lasting knowledge with sources. You can save a useful Session result as an article, open it for reading, and follow its source links. The current Wiki interface also offers generating or syncing a Project article where those controls are available.

A good supplier decision article might contain the question, evaluated options, deciding criteria, source versions, and unresolved terms. It should explain why the team chose an option rather than simply repeat a confident recommendation.

If you generate or sync an article from Project work, review the actual content and its sources. Identify which findings are established and which remain provisional. Updating an article is useful when the Project changes; it still needs evidence for the new conclusion.

Keep files, findings, and methods in useful places

Here is a fictional example of what to retain after a review:

Result Suitable Workspace home Context to preserve
Final supplier comparison Project Files Proposals, criteria, and review date.
Explanation of one confusing term Bookmarks Question, source, and qualification.
Why the supplier was selected Archive → Wiki Evidence, decision, and unresolved conditions.
Comparison procedure Project instructions, Agent, or Skill Steps, expected output, and exception handling.

These are choices you make for your workflow. Saving one form does not automatically create the others. A finished file remains useful even if you do not turn its findings into a Wiki article.

The Project instructions article helps with rules for ongoing work. Use a custom Agent or reusable Skill when a method should travel across suitable tasks.

Make the knowledge useful next month

Include a short note describing when a conclusion should be reconsidered. For the supplier example, that could be a new proposal, changed pricing, or an answer to the missing cancellation term.

When you return, open the cited source or the retained Project file. Check what changed before treating an earlier finding as today's answer. The history of a decision may remain useful while the price or delivery date needs a fresh check.

Try a small preservation task:

Help turn this reviewed supplier comparison into a concise Wiki article. Include the decision question, source versions, supported findings, unresolved terms, and conditions that would require another review. Preserve the reviewed comparison file. Let me inspect the proposed article and sources.

Review the saved article, then return through Archive → Wiki to find it again. The goal is a piece of knowledge that explains itself when the original conversation is no longer fresh in your memory.
